Employee Training and Development

WVMCCD supports the professional development of our employees by offering training opportunities on campus, of campus, and online.  Throughout the year, employees are invited to attend workshops, luncheons, and seminars.  If you have a training need that ​is not covered here, please contact Samantha Folb. 

HR Learning Lab 

Join us for bi-weekly online training sessions on a variety of topics including leadership skills, HR policies and procedures, and best practices in Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Accessibility, and Belonging (DEIAB).

The State Chancellor’s office is now providing unlimited access to Lynda.com for all employees of California State Community Colleges through its  Vision Resource Center.   Lynda.com is an online library of courses on software tools and skills.   To create a Lynda.com profile, navigate to the State Chancellor's Office - Vision Resource Center  Register and create your login then click on the link for Lynda.com.

NVC Academy
