Employees may apply for a district parking permit at no cost. Please select your employment category or contract type below for further details and instructions.

All classified staff and full-time faculty are eligible to receive a permanent staff permit that does not expire. Lost, damaged, or stolen full-time permits may be replaced upon request to the district police department’s parking office.

To apply for a parking permit, classified staff or full-time faculty employees must first complete the Staff & Faculty Parking Permit Application Form.

The completed permit application form must then be submitted, along with a copy of your “assignment sheet” or “police service request form” (one or both to be provided by Human Resources during the employee onboarding process), to the district police office either in person, via email to parking.servicesFREEWVM, or via mail to:

All part-time faculty are eligible to receive an annual staff permit that expires on December 31st of each calendar year. Please note that part-time faculty that receive subsequent teaching assignments in the next calendar year will need to renew their parking permit for that year using the process below. Lost, damaged, or stolen part-time permits may be replaced upon request to the district police department’s parking office.

To apply for a parking permit, part-time faculty employees must first complete the Parking Permit Application Form.

The completed permit application form must then be submitted, along with a copy of either a “contract”, “assignment sheet”, or “police service request form” (one or more to be provided by Human Resources), to the district police office either in person, via email to parking.servicesFREEWVM, or via mail to:

Hourly employees working for the district under a professional expert contract are eligible to receive an annual staff permit that expires on December 31st of each calendar year. Please note that if your professional expert contract extends past the end of the calendar year, or if your contract is renewed for the next year, you will need to renew your parking permit using the process below. Lost, damaged, or stolen part-time permits may be replaced upon request to the district police department’s parking office.

To apply for a parking permit, hourly professional expert employees must first complete the Parking Permit Application Form.

The completed permit application form must then be submitted, along with a copy of your Notice of Employment or N.O.E. (typically available through your manager), to the district police office either in person, via email to parking.servicesFREEWVM, or via mail to:

All registered students that also work on campus as a student worker may order a student semester-length parking permit at no cost by clicking on the “parking permit” link in the student portal. Student workers that are not currently taking classes, such as during the summer or winter sessions, may request a permit per the process below.

Volunteers, Interns, and hourly employees (Seasonal, Project Based, etc.) are eligible to receive a free semester- length student parking permit valid for use in all student parking stalls. To apply for your permit please complete the Parking Permit Application Form, including the required signature by your supervisor, program coordinator, manager, or department head, then submit the completed form to the district police office either in person, via email to parking.servicesFREEWVM, or via mail to:

Contractors working on campus for short periods of time should request parking permits or other parking accommodations through their primary college or district point of contact. Parking Services will be happy to assist college or district programs/administrators that are coordinating onsite contractors with their contractor specific parking requests.

College or district employees that would like to request parking accommodations should email the request to [email protected]. The email should include:

  • Company name
  • Number of vehicles / permits needed
  • Start and end date of work period
  • Parking location and/or type of parking stalls being requested
  • If overnight parking is needed
  • Contact information for an appropriate company contact in case there are questions or concerns about a vehicle / a need to have the vehicle moved quickly
