Employees must apply to and be accepted by SJSU’s program to be eligible for the scholarship.
San Jose State University is responsible for all admissions decisions. The WVMCCD
Chancellor’s Office administers the scholarship for employees.
All active full-time and part-time faculty and classified employees of the WVMCCD
are eligible to apply for the scholarship. Decisions on the scholarship are contingent
upon acceptance to the SJSU program.
Scholarship amounts vary and depend upon a variety of factors, including the number
of employees accepted.
Scholarship applications submitted prior to acceptance into the SJSU program will
be placed on hold, pending program acceptance.
Once an employee is accepted to the SJSU program, the WVMCCD Chancellor’s Office will
review the employee’s scholarship application.
Scholarship award amounts depend upon the number of employees accepted to the SJSU
program and seeking scholarships.
