Connecting Stakeholders

Our office serves as the external relations and public affairs division of the district. We focus on supporting the district’s vision of building a brighter Silicon Valley by establishing and fostering strategic partnerships in business, government, and education.

Our Main Focus Areas

  • Monitor and review relevant local, state, and federal legislation, assessing and analyzing their impact on the district.
  • Develop, coordinate, and represent advocacy initiatives and campaigns that align with the district’s approved legislative positions.
  • Draft and implement districtwide policies and procedures related to governmental relations and public communications.
  • Promote the Chancellor's mission and major policy directives, views, and program initiatives.
  • Organize legislative meetings and events, actively monitor legislative committee hearings, and represent the Chancellor before legislators.
