What is Banner?
Banner is a commercial Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and Student Information
System (SIS) for higher education institutions.It's designed to support the academic
and administrative needs of students, faculty, and staff, and can help institutions
improve processes, increase visibility, and enable collaboration.
Banner Modules
Banner is made up of several integrated modules that share a single database, including:
- Banner Student: Helps students with admissions, registration, course management, advising, financial aid, and more
- Banner Finance: Manages finances, improves financial reporting, and automates processes
- Banner Financial Aid: Streamlines processes for efficiency and equity
