 Campus Sustainability

Our Facilities team provides the districtwide support of the physical and natural environment throughout the WVMCCD campuses. We are committed to sustainability, reducing the energy consumption and carbon footprint, and preserving our natural resources. Our new construction and renovation building projects are designed to meet the CALGreen Building Code (which is equivalent to LEED Silver), LEED standards, and energy conservation goals. These standards minimize our impact on the environment. In working together, the Facilities team is committed in engaging the college community on environmental awareness and sustainability initiatives.
