Maintaining our Campuses

At Facilities, we provide custodial, grounds, fleet maintenance, and building maintenance and operations to the District’s two campuses, Mission College and West Valley College. Our team includes more than 60 talented individuals. We are especially proud of our culturally diverse staff and the longevity and dedication they bring to the department as we ensure our campuses remain beautifully maintained.

In total, we maintain a building square footage of more than 1,205,000 gross square feet spread across 307 acres. We have a fulltime staff of facilities administrators, building maintenance mechanics, groundskeepers, and custodians, and also have agreements with outside vendors as needed.

We strive for operational efficiency to support West Valley College and Mission College’s educational mission while preserving and enhancing physical assets through regular maintenance and strategic planning.

Our Vision

To be a national leader in facilities management, recognized for our commitment to sustainability, fiscal responsibility, innovation, and excellence in creating an optimal environment for education and community engagement at West Valley College and Mission College.
