Mr. Borges began his higher education career at the West Valley-Mission Community College District, previously serving as Micro-Computer Support Manager for six years. He then served in the role as Information Technology Director & Chief Information Officer in 2011, before serving as Chief Information Systems Officer and Interim Vice President of Technology and Operations for the Southwestern Community College District in 2014.
Mr. Borges holds a bachelor of arts in aeronautics engineering with a business minor from San Jose State University, and a master of science in information technology, with specialization in IT project management and leadership, from Capella University. Additionally, he has been awarded Project Management Professional certification by the Project Management Institute.
