The Campus Safety Escort Program was designed to accommodate students, staff, faculty, and visitors while on West Valley or Mission College campuses.   Our emphasis is to provide a safe  alternative to walking alone on campus.

 

The Campus Safety Escort Program is available Monday thru Thursday, from 5:00 pm until 9:45 pm, excluding holidays and weekends.

 

 

 

DISCLAIMER

 

 

1. Escort services will not be provided on observed holidays, weekends, during summer, winter, and spring breaks, and all other non-teaching days scheduled by the college district. 

 

2. In the event of a situation or emergency, which may require a District Police employee to respond to an emergency call for service or prior incident requiring law enforcement attention, the West Valley-Mission College District Police Department assumes no responsibility or liability in the event of any missing safety escorts.  All safety escort services are subject to the availability of a District Police Department employees and/or staffing.

 

3. Safety Escort services are not provided by the College District Police Department off West Valley and Mission College properties.

 

4. All individuals who are under 18 years of age must have their parents or legal guardian sign the release of liability wavier form.

 

 

 

Individuals requesting this service must do the followings: 

 

1.  You must complete and sign the release of liability waiver form.  

2.  You must have an appointment for all safety escorts.

3.  You must identify the safety escort days, pickup hours, and locations.
