POLICE DEPARTMENT

Other than law enforcement officers, it is a felony for any person who is in possession of any kind of a firearm in, or on the grounds of, a public or private school, community college, and university.  The violation of this law will result in an arrest and will be punishable by imprisonment in the state prison for up to five (5) years. 

 

Possession of any weapons or drugs on college campus is in violation of state laws.  Pursuant to state law, smoking is prohibited within any buildings or within 25 feet of any buildings, doors, and windows.
