Reserve Officer Program

The Reserve Officer Program is a part-time non-benefited status. Reserve applicants must have successfully completed the Basic Police Academy prior to applying.

The reserve application packet must be obtained from Human Resources Department located at West Valley College Campus, 14000 Fruitvale Ave., Saratoga, CA 95070.

The first selection process includes a mandatory written exam, oral interview, and a physical agility test.  Further testing will include a full background investigation, a polygraph examination, a psychological interview, a psychological written exam, and a medical examination.
