Emergency Coordinator
The Emergency Preparedness Coordinator works out of the West Valley Mission Community College District Police Department for the Chief of Police under the direct supervision of the Police Lieutenant. The coordinator works closely with the Vice President of Administrative Services at both West Valley and Mission Colleges to better prepare students and staff in the event of an emergency. This is accomplished through both in person and virtual emergency preparedness training, writing and reviewing emergency procedures and policy, and representing the department on campus safety committees. The coordinator assists when requested with campus safety presentations, evacuation drills, lockdown training, and completes after action reports.
