6th-9th Graders Attend West Valley College this Summer

Youngsters can get a jump-start on their campus
experience this summer by attending
College for Kids at West Valley in Saratoga. While most children sign up for
sports camps in summer, West Valley's College for Kids offers educational
classes in Crime Scene Investigation, Young Entrepreneurs, Kids and Money,
Fashion Design, Creative Writing, Drama, Journalism, Speech, Spanish, Flash
Animation, Genetics, Biology, Life Science, plus art, sports, and Algebra and
Geometry.
This is the 19th year West Valley College has offered
this program to students who will enter 6th through 9th grade in the fall.
Sessions are June 21-July 9, and July 12-July 29. The fee is $525 per
session and $195 for the After-School Program. Classes run Monday-Friday 8:30
a.m.-1:45 p.m., with the after-school program running from 2:00-4:00 pm.
