Board Bios
Chris Constantin

Mr. Chris Constantin has served on the West Valley/Mission Community College Board since 1996 and served as the country's youngest Board President in 1999. He is currently in his second term of office. He has served as a non-profit Director for an auxiliary of San Jose State, an executive member for San Jose Crimestoppers, and a volunteer dance instructor for a national award-winning dance troupe.
Currently, Chris is a Performance Auditor for the City of San Jose. In this capacity, he works to ensure that public resources are used effectively and efficiently.
Mr. Constantin attended West Valley as a high school student and has been a student at both West Valley and Mission Colleges. He graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from San Jose State University and a Masters of Public Administration from the top-ranked Maxwell School at Syracuse University. He continues to take courses in the district.
At SJSU, he participated in the development of a student-run child care center and helped develop a half million dollar scholarship fund. While at Syracuse, he worked to improve County Court information processes, did consulting on the planned merger of Legal Aid and Legal Services for Central New York, and conducted a needs assessment for a large county park revitalization project. He also received mediation training through the Syracuse Law School and participated in family dispute mediations.
